Archicamp: The Intensive Program In Architecture

“archicamp” is an intensive program designed for high school students considering a career in architecture.  The program will enable the students to explore the principles of architecture through lectures, workshops, and field trips. The program is aimed at preparing young students for the exciting world of architecture. Guest lecturers with diverse backgrounds and a field trip to one of the most prestigious architecture firms in Kuwait will expose the students to both the academic and the professional sides of architecture.  A hands-on experience with the professionals will maximize their benefits from the program.

Basic skills such as sketching/ drafting, model making, creative thinking, and problem solving will introduce the students to the process and methodology of design, which will then lead to a comprehensive architectural design project that will serve the community.

Who should participate?

High school students:

-  Who are considering their educational and professional choices

-  Have prior experience in design and wish to develop it
