Facebook End On March 15th, 2012!
Posted by in Announcement | Economy | Reviews | Technology | World Life - (6 Comments)PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March of 2012. Managing the site has become too stressful.
“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”
Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th of next year, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts. That gives users (and Facebook addicts) a year to adjust to life without Facebook.
“After March 15th, 2012 the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back after Facebook goes out of business.”
Zuckerberg said the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.
“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”
Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.
“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”
However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.
“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”
VIVA managed to create the cheapest Blackberry services for their subscribers. It’s only 7KD for unlimited services of Blackberry.
Effectively nice to see cheap smart-phones data services on the market. Hope we could have the same prices for the iPhone services also.
Apple: Steven Jobs Resign
Posted by in Announcement | Apple | Technology | World Life - (0 Comments)Steven Jobs end his day with Apple. Here is the resignation letter:
“To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community: I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee. As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role. I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.
Steve”
Quran Soft & Hard Copy At Mosques
Posted by in Kuwait Life | Others | Reviews | Technology | World Life - (0 Comments)Ramadan is getting to end. As we have learnt since we are kids, by the last 10 days of Ramadan all muslims are in mosques for (Gayam & Layaly AlGader). I’m really not with people holding and reading the Quran by his device. There are hundreds of hard-copy of the Quran unused on the shelfs and people still uses their devices.
Personally, I like to read from the traditional Quran Kareem Soft-copy this what we have learnt and still keep with us at home, office or car. I haven’t say to not use technology in religion, but to keep it stand-by if the Quran Kareem Book is available to use at the mosques.
I hope everyone have understood, they keeps us using it frequently and what have learnt in our religion.
In the last couple of days we’ve posted to Ask Zain? for any questions. Q8path and bloggers had a small interview gathering with Zain’s CEO and head department management at there Head Office in Shuwaikh. Through out the interview, different bloggers asked about the technical issues, services prices, competitive issues and Zain Group. Briefly, all the answered questions was transperatelly answered, with supported and explained details.
In this interview, they explained about online management and had a tour in Zain’s call centre (107).
Personally, I liked this type of interview with a one of the big telecommunication organization in Kuwait. This type of interview, links between the head of management and the social media or clients.
