InfoConnect Expo. Begins 29 January 2012 started yesterday, today morning I had chance visit up the exhibition. Well, I don’t really think that interesting, it is the same as every year. But this year its all mobiles, it should be technology in general laptops, computers and machinery. There is one disadvantage, each telecommunication company took their own hall to put their product and resellers. So where are the rest of the companies in Kuwait such as Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba and etc. All what I see is “rubbish” of mobiles and telecommunications contracts and offers.

Wish Gitex is in Kuwait, which InfoConnect should be.

Finally, what do you think about InfoConnect 2012?

Twitter announced before one day ago, starting new strategy of forcing blocking specific tweets/posts on Twitter in specific countries in the world. Well, I don’t think this satisfy twitters with this policy, as it was available since twitter started. Through my review, if this happened locally the Twitters may move to Facebook as this action is happening from the Twitter by it self.

As we continue to grow internationally, we will enter countries that have different ideas about the contours of freedom of expression. Some differ so much from our ideas that we will not be able to exist there. Others are similar but, for historical or cultural reasons, restrict certain types of content, such as France or Germany, which ban pro-Nazi content.

Until now, the only way we could take account of those countries’ limits was to remove content globally. Starting today, we give ourselves the ability to reactively withhold content from users in a specific country — while keeping it available in the rest of the world. We have also built in a way to communicate transparently to users when content is withheld, and why.

We haven’t yet used this ability, but if and when we are required to withhold a Tweet in a specific country, we will attempt to let the user know, and we will clearly mark when the content has been withheld. As part of that transparency, we’ve expanded our partnership with Chilling Effects to share this new page,http://chillingeffects.org/twitter, which makes it easier to find notices related to Twitter.

Through an annual process, InfoConnect exbihition is back this year. InfoConnect is an exhibition were covers all technology, elections and electrical items/companies in one area.

The exhibition starts from 29 JAN 2012 – 02 FEB 2012 at Kuwait Internation Exhibition Centre (Mishref) Hall (5,6,7).

Hope it will be more effective this year.

Before two days ago, there was a wonderful item from Sheeel, as it was their deal for that day . I was planning to get one of iClooly product. It is a product for the iPhone, connecting it to a normal handset with a office. I’ve really liked it specially for using it daily for my office.

I really hate moving around and updating the feedback everywhere in social media. So I should stay updated with the generation, or I will be old.

WhatsApp is finally available on the Appstore, after it was removed by Apple Review Board. It’s currently available with full update. But there is no any changes in it, but seems much faster in updating than before.

When you see these CD’s you remember they are from Kuwait “Hawali Bin Khalood St”. I’m one of the lovers since teenager and till now to visit Hawali Bin Khaldoon St. to finish the latest updates. But since some months, I was disappointed of the ways of cheating people with copy-softwares. But thanks god after getting the wonderful PC “MacBook Pro” I stopped visiting them. Specially, they promise it’s original and no one has it. But it’s available everywhere. Each year the price increase from 1KD and now 3KD per software.

Till when these shops are selling copy CD’s when they are not following the copyrights terms.
