I would like to thanks Zain Corporate Communications Dept for their email regarding the post “To:Zain” which was placed yesterday.
This is the following email which we have recieved:
Dear Sir / Madam,
We read your blog post with interest and concern.
Zain is a multi-departmental entity, and as such, follows strict guidelines and procedures especially when it comes to the many proposals and offerings we receive each year.
Should you wish to discuss any matter regarding sponsorship, we strongly advise you to contact the relevant person or department either via email, letter or phone call and take an appointment. Turning up at the gate and handing a letter to the security guard is not the best way to pitch your idea.
Please send your letter and will be more than happy to review your proposal.
Zain strives to make a Wonderful World for everyone, not only its customers. And as such we will investigate your claims that the security guard’s treatment of visitors to the Zain headquarters fell short of the high standards we expect from our staff when they interact with members of the public. We will investigate the incident and revert back to you directly if you provide us your contacts.
Sincerely
Zain Kuwait Corporate Communications Dept
Thank you again Zain for reading our posts and finding us a solution.
Well, today I have faced a really unsatisfied service in Zain’s headquarter. Me and our team are organizing a big program which generally talk about technology and web 2.0. We are communicating with Zain regarding sponsorship, our team are sending more than three letters which is been handed by their security staff.
Today we have faced a really unhelpful way from their security staff. We are trying to reach any of Zain’s staff which is responsible in sponsorships. But the security staff informed us you cannot see any of the staff without an approval from them, as we are waiting for a respond from two month. Finally, the security person told us “Etha moo 3ajbek e6la3, wa ma nstgabel elletter b3ad”. This is not the way to communicate with us, I’m really disappointed.
No Translater in Ministry of Higher Education
Posted by in Education | Kuwait Life | Personal - (2 Comments)From March 2010, I have decided to complete my degree program in United Kingdom. I have visited the university, completed my approval and signed the approval from the Kuwait Cultural Office in London. In mid of May, I have visited the Ministry of Higher Education that is located in Freedom Zone. They asked to open a file, add my certificates, and apply for an authorized letter for the university.
That took them to prepare these one month, before one week I have received a call from them to visit them for some problems, the problem was that they don’t know what the word “pre-sessional course” means. So they told me you couldn’t go to London without the authorized letter and that could be a benefit for me. They need two month to send to the Kuwait Cultural Office to ask the university what does “pre-sessional course” means in the approval letter.
I really wonder how these people work, think and why they are placed in this position if they really don’t understand English, this is the most biggeset Ministry and they really don’t know what “pre-sessional course”, as they really like to waste money and time. So now I’m sticked and delayed for my visa and registeration. As what could I do any suggestions?
The Ministry have to provide them Google Translate or train them English. Wallah 2 month only for communicating with the University for one word.
It’s means that if you do not have IELTS certificate I have to do English course and that is called as pre-sessional course.
Update: I’m planning to cancel my trip and continue in studying in Kuwait.

That is the second week that I’m daily visiting Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital regarding my medicines. All the doctors are in leave and their are now one to request me a medicines. That’s really back management, the head of the department was available today, and they reduced to request me until the doctor comes, and each one tells you something. Come on, no management, no system, your folder is lost, no medicine for one month.
So overall, my best solution is to visit a private hospital and pay for your life rather waiting for these doctors to come back from their holidays.

Summer has just started and its time for the dates to grow. As I was walking today morning in our small garden, their are large amount of dates growing from the palm tree. I really enjoy eating the dates and usually it remembers me in when I’m small when we usually pick-up the grown dates in ramadan.
