Pinkberry Soon in Marina Mall
Posted by in Announcement | Kuwait Life | Restaurant/Food - (4 Comments)Today afternoon, I’ve was just having a walk in Marina Mall. I have passed on the new Pinkberry branch in Marina Mall next to Paul’s Cafe. From top of my mind, I think this location before was Waterlemon Restaurant. I think this is a better place to open Pinkberry which is really better for me, as it’s near to my home and workplace.
Well we would like to thanks 360Dewan for posting and covering this subject. Bouky is a new type of service in trail phase provided only by NBK, Zain and VISA, where you can pay for your purchases by your mobile phone. This service is provided commercially in Japan and some other countries. As it’s only in trail phase here in Kuwait until September it is only provided in the Avenues Mall in Al-Shaya stores,IKEA and Cinescape. Regarding security there is a pin code just like a K-Net debt card and a service hot line if you lose your phone or stolen.

No Translater in Ministry of Higher Education
Posted by in Education | Kuwait Life | Personal - (2 Comments)From March 2010, I have decided to complete my degree program in United Kingdom. I have visited the university, completed my approval and signed the approval from the Kuwait Cultural Office in London. In mid of May, I have visited the Ministry of Higher Education that is located in Freedom Zone. They asked to open a file, add my certificates, and apply for an authorized letter for the university.
That took them to prepare these one month, before one week I have received a call from them to visit them for some problems, the problem was that they don’t know what the word “pre-sessional course” means. So they told me you couldn’t go to London without the authorized letter and that could be a benefit for me. They need two month to send to the Kuwait Cultural Office to ask the university what does “pre-sessional course” means in the approval letter.
I really wonder how these people work, think and why they are placed in this position if they really don’t understand English, this is the most biggeset Ministry and they really don’t know what “pre-sessional course”, as they really like to waste money and time. So now I’m sticked and delayed for my visa and registeration. As what could I do any suggestions?
The Ministry have to provide them Google Translate or train them English. Wallah 2 month only for communicating with the University for one word.
It’s means that if you do not have IELTS certificate I have to do English course and that is called as pre-sessional course.
Update: I’m planning to cancel my trip and continue in studying in Kuwait.
Electronics Prices in Kuwait
Posted by in Electrozan | Kuwait Life | Reviews | Technology - (0 Comments)Today morning, I’ve found this advertisement from Electrozan. I was thinking of the prices with this features back in UK. Kuwait is really the cheapest country with foods, accommodations, petrol, electronics, shopping and living. From my research online by comparing in Amazon UK, Kuwait has the cheapest prices categorized by Electrozans. From experience, I really prefer people in Kuwait buy their wants locally, as it’s safer, cheaper, tangible and with warranty.
Electrozan has really the best promotions, as 50″ Panasonic TV, free DVD and Stand that equals 289 KD. Wallah balash

That is the second week that I’m daily visiting Mubarak Al-Kabeer hospital regarding my medicines. All the doctors are in leave and their are now one to request me a medicines. That’s really back management, the head of the department was available today, and they reduced to request me until the doctor comes, and each one tells you something. Come on, no management, no system, your folder is lost, no medicine for one month.
So overall, my best solution is to visit a private hospital and pay for your life rather waiting for these doctors to come back from their holidays.
