Well we would like to thanks 360Dewan for posting and covering this subject. Bouky  is a new type of service in trail phase provided only by NBK, Zain and VISA, where you can pay for your purchases by your mobile phone. This service is provided commercially in Japan and some other countries. As it’s only in trail phase here in Kuwait until September it is only provided in the Avenues Mall in Al-Shaya stores,IKEA and Cinescape. Regarding security there is a pin code just like a K-Net debt card and a service hot line if you lose your phone or stolen.

What’s really going on with the banks?. On last Wednesday, my ATM card was not working in the ATM and POS machines. I went to the bank to replace with a new card. By the way, I was running out of cash, I have just none that in every bank in Kuwait when you withdraw any amount that is under 2000 KD they take a commission 2 KD.

I was really disappointed with these commissions, why do they take 2 KD for every withdraw, that’s really unhappy policy, because in these two days I have made 3 withdraw and they took 6 KD, so for what is the commission, as we already putting our money in the their banks?

KUWAIT, May 13 (KUNA) — Zain Telecom Group announced Thursday that its profit for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, 2010, was at USD 179.1 million. Zain Group Chairman Asaad Al-Banwan told the press that the total earnings of the Zain Group in the Mideast region reached USD 1.15 billion, an increase of 11 percent from the 2009′s number of USD 1.04 billion.
Regarding the financial status of Zain in the first quarter, Al-Banwan indicated that despite the shifts on its operational mechanism, Zain had achieved 24 percent growth in its operational net profit. He also noted that profit for shareholders had also increased in the first quarter by 10 percent, settling at USD 8.72 billion in contrast to the USD 7.95 billion number in the same period in 2009.

And Now Kuwait Pricing, nt only in one store, these prices are the same everywhere, perhaps a slight change. I didn’t check the prices of iCity or any Authorised Apple store, but they either the same or higher than other electronic stores.

So even with shipping and handling costs, it is cheaper than Kuwait.

Maybe the demand is exceeding supply which means in economics 101 the prices will be higher, but still, they can always order some more, and it’s available all over the web. And if someone would like to pull the INFLATION card, well, when you buy ingrediants that costs 5 kd and makes 24 cupcakes, and you sell those 24 cupcakes for a total of 20 kd, THAT’S NOT INFLATION, IT’S USE. Inflation is when you raise your prices because the igrediants are costing more, meaning that the whole country prices are now more, not because you want more money, COME ON.
