AppleEvent2015Last Monday 9th of March 2015, Apple organized March Event 2015. The event showed by launching  the New MacBook, Apple Watch and Research Kit.

Tim Cook started with launching the new MacBook laptop. With the new MacBook, you can  experience the full-size into the lightest and most compact Mac notebook ever. That meant reimagining every element to make it not only lighter and thinner but also better.

It is 13.1mm thin and 1lb. light. The keyboard changed to think buttons with large spaces. As well, it is 12‑inch Retina display with edge-to-edge glass brings everything into focus. Every photo leaps off the screen in rich, vibrant detail. Over 3 million pixels render each letter with crystal clarity.

The new MacBook comes with three different colour Gold, Silver and Space Grey. Still Apple haven’t released the launching date. Prices will start from $1200.

Of course, thousands of people are waiting for Apple Watch. During the event, Tim Cook announced about the three types of watches: Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition.

The Apple Watch collection features highly polished stainless steel and space black stainless steel cases. The display is protected by sapphire crystal. And there’s a choice of three different leather bands, a link bracelet, a Milanese loop, and a band made from high-performance fluoroelastomer.

The Apple Watch Sport collection cases are made from lightweight anodized aluminum in silver and space gray. The display is protected by strengthened Ion-X glass. And the matching fluoroelastomer band comes in five different colors.

The Apple Watch Edition collection features eight uniquely elegant expressions of Apple Watch. Each has a watch case crafted from 18-karat gold that our metallurgists have developed to be up to twice as hard as standard gold. The display is protected by polished sapphire crystal. And an exquisitely designed band provides a striking complement.

In the end, all of Apple Watches are synced with your iPhone. You can track your health/fitness analytics, apps, calls and more. Will be available in stores by 23rd April 2015.

Apple created a new research network which helps people around the world. ResearchKit is an open source software framework that makes it easy for researchers and developers to create apps that could revolutionize medical studies, potentially transforming medicine forever.

Chanel innovated in Paris Fashion Week Show by transforming the runway into supermarket. Chanel Shopping Center provided the backdrop for Chanel’s 2014/15 Fall-Winter Ready-To-Wear collection. The sprawling supermarket, constructed for the occasion beneath the glass roof of the Grand Palais, made for a tongue-in-cheek setting that evoked the consumerist culture imagery of Pop Art as well as the concept of easy everyday luxury. More than 3,400 guests browsed shelves stocked with goods renamed and packaged especially for the show Chanel-branded beverages, groceries, fresh produce and home improvement supplies – before taking their seats as the 79 models began their sweep through the aisles. As well, all the food and products are  donated to charities.

Karl Lagerfeld’s collection resonates with his resolutely modern take on the Chanel vocabulary, electrified by a distinctly urban vibe. Sneakers are the footwear of choice, paired with blazers, dresses and coats, and in knee-high lace-up boot hybrids; the models, freed from heels, had a definite spring in their step.

I really find it interesting to use Supermarket theme to promote their products at Paris Fashion Week Show.
