New Kuwaiti Movie Trailer

We  and other blogs, got an e-mail with the video above from an upcoming Kuwaiti film maker who wants us to share this video with you. Basically to get comments which he can use to his benefit. Enjoy..

I’m one of the people who are working on a Kuwaiti film, and we would love to post the trailer on your blog so we can get feedback from the viewers before we move to the next step of production. We are a group of Kuwaiti youth who are interested in Film-making and cinema. We are trying to make serious Kuwaiti films, but since we are doing it ourselves and without any form of support, we need all the help that we can get.

This mission is called the “popular technology”.Technology grows faster and faster everyday. We cannot control it but we can alter the way we wish to live with it. You’re either sticking to the old traditional ways or moving on like most of the community.

In Kuwait particularly technology played a big role in making q8 what it is today.thanks to the hard work of our grandfather’s and huge role of oil.  But oil and history isn’t the subject today. The subject is  “Popular Technology”

A round the 1990’s most students at schools in Kuwait were required to acquire floppy disks. It was very popular given the fact you can store up to 2.5 MB of work in it. Another factis that most kids started buying the colored ones like orange, blue floppy’s and etc. Now lets face it people in during our modern time 2.5 MB isn’t enough to save embarrassing video of ur family or friends.

Around the year of 2001 the flash drives were introduced into the Kuwaiti community but some were still happy with there floppy’s. However they then realized they can store more stuff and videos on it then a floppy which led to the use of flash drives.

Now we come to our main subject.

A new Era has arrived and will spread fast. It will spread so fast that it will have been out into the Kuwaiti community faster than if you can say “supercali fragalistic expialidoshus”. We set khalil on mission to retrieve a considerate amount of the all new and improved flash drives call mini flash drives that we will be introducing to the Kuwait citizens.

The products that our blog will be selling will be in a booth at the Movennpick hotel in the free zone. The event is called “Ibda3aatee”. That will take place in 3,4,5 of December.  After the Eid inshalah.
